Back in 2020, our goal was simple. How could we stay connected with other professionals during a pandemic and the isolation it caused?

We met that goal and on our 1-year anniversary, we all got to meet in person.

Then we started dreaming bigger. How big could HRNG become? How could we facilitate more authentic connection among our members? What's the next networking theme we could try or business we could visit?

It has been SO much fun.

Founder & Owner of HRNG

Hello! I'm so glad you're here. I'm Markella Mitcheison and I help high-achieving professionals expand their networks to build their brand, businesses, and most importantly, their relationships.

Over my career in sales & marketing, I've learned a few things about myself. I'm uniquely skilled at creating genuine connections and this has been crucial to my success. I love to make others feel welcome. AND I throw a great party.

Alongside a couple of dear friends, Laurie DaPrano and Kim Nelson, I began building Hampton Roads Networking Group in 2020 with the intention of creating connection during an otherwise disconnected time in the world and in my own life.

Back then, I had no idea what it would become. Over the last few years, we've built something really special together that creates connection, leads, and exposure for businesses and individuals.

I can't wait to see what the future holds, and I hope you'll join us!
